Carbon Steel EN-353 bars contain mainly carbon (0.10–0.20%), manganese (0.50–1.00%), silicon (0.10–0.35%), sulfur (≤0.040%), phosphorus (≤0.040%), chromium (0.75–1.25%), molybdenum (0.08–0.15%), and nickel (1.00–1.50%). These bars have a tensile strength of 700–850 MPa, yield strength of 450–650 MPa, and elongation of 16–20%.
