HB 400 wear-resistant steel plates are made from low-alloyed steel, containing 0.25–0.30% carbon, with alloying elements such as manganese (≤1.60%), silicon (≤0.70%), chromium (≤1.50%), nickel (≤0.50%), and molybdenum (≤0.50%). These elements enhance hardness, toughness, and resistance to wear. The plates exhibit 370–430 HBW Brinell hardness, a yield strength of approximately 800 MPa, and tensile strength between 1000–1250 MPa, with elongation around 10%. This combination of hardness and ductility ensures exceptional resistance to impact, abrasion, and deformation, making HB 400 plates ideal for severe working environments.
