Its chemical composition contains carbon (up to 0.12%), manganese (up to 2.10%), silicon (up to 0.60%), phosphorus (up to 0.025%), sulfur (up to 0.015%), aluminum (minimum 0.015%), niobium (up to 0.09%), titanium (up to 0.22%), vanadium (up to 0.20%), molybdenum (up to 0.50%), and boron (up to 0.0050%). Its mechanical properties are tensile strength of 750ā950 MPa and elongation of 10ā12%, depending on thickness.
